WOW is dedicated to student achievement above and beyond the call of duty.   In a contest to redesign the Google image, Gloria Kim relates what Algebra is really all about!  An outstanding explanation by Erica will convince you which is a better fit, a round peg in a square hole or a square peg in a round hole.  You will also find a magic square made by hand by four 6th graders in Honors Pre-Algebra, a task which would have astounded the great Archimedes.

What if... this world was like algebra?

It would be a world of equality where everything is balanced out. People of all race, ethnicity, gender, and religion will be treated the same, just like an algebra equation "what you do to one side, you do the same with the other." And in this world of equality, there is also acceptance-for who we are; not only on the outside, but in the inside as well. Acceptance, equality, balance, ALGEBRA- what if this world was like algebra?
